Club Geo-Trek, a new program, finds new roads

Club Geo-Trek, a new program from Arlington recreation for grades three through six, is set for Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, from 9 a.m. through 1 p.m.Geo-Trek

Three session weeks are available.

Club Geo-Trek introduces hiking and the fun sport of collecting geocaches. That is a type of global scavenger hunt in which people look for caches or hidden stashes of objects.  Geocachers use a GPS app that offers coordinates, clues and puzzles to solve. 

THe first session started the week of Aug. 9, to be followed by the weeks of Aug. 16 and Aug. 23.
