The town website reports that starting Tuesday, Oct. 27, the new parking kiosks in the Russell Common and Water Street lots will be in effect.
Hours of operation are 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday. Please pay at the pay station and place the receipt on your vehicle's dashboard.
The rates are 50 cents an hour, with no time limit within the hours of operation. Overnight parking requires a special permit that can be purchased at the Treasurer's Office.
The pay stations will accept quarters, Visa, MasterCard and Discover credit/debit cards. Note that there is a $1 minimum with the use of any credit or debit card.
The Board of Selectmen voted to support these changes, among others.
For questions, contact the parking clerk at 781-316-3030.
