The last session, Aug. 3, according to the Coalition to Protect Mugar Wetlands, was relatively brief, as new documentation provided by developer Oaktree arrived only that afternoon. Here is the Aug. 3 meeting summary >>

Because of the lack of time to review the new documents, the ZBA Chair Christian Klein allowed Oaktree only to describe the list of documents, indicating there would be no substantive discussion. There was no public comment period. though extra time would be allotted at the next hearing.

The Sept. 9 session is to be followed by one Sept. 28, and the public-review period has been extended to Oct. 1.

Arlington Land Trust reported earlier that Oaktree, after months of hearings on its residential proposal, shifted in May to proposing a senior-living complex. Sketchy information about this plan has been provided to the board and the public, with no information presented at the June 29 and July 13 meetings.
