Arlington planning officials want to hear what questions you have on the topics of housing and economic development.

The officials say they are committed to broadly addressing housing affordability and availability and our community’s short-and long-term economic stability.

Planners recognize that there are many possible ways to address these issues.

Help shape new guidelines for single- to two-family homes

In addition, the town is developing guidelines to improve the design of new additions, renovations, and new construction of single- and two-family homes in single- and two-family neighborhoods in Arlington.

Take the Visual Preference Survey and tell us what you think. Watch for more opportunities to participate in this project later this spring. Learn more about the planning process and contacts for follow-up here.

Everyone is encouraged to submit questions via email to questions at town.arlington.ma.us, leaving a voice mail message at 781-316-3094 or online at www.arlingtonma.gov/questions.
