Chamber update:  First Lights Thursday in Whittemore Park

1st Lights logoFeaturing Arlington High School Honors Orchestra and Arlington High School Madrigal Singers.

Here's the schedule:

6 p.m.: Open house at Cyrus Dallin Art Museum, live ice-sculpting demonstration, cookies and hot chocolate, candy canes, giveaways and strolling characters.

6:10: Lighting of the park

6:15: Performance by Arlington High School Honors Orchestra.

7: Performance by Arlington High School Madrigal Singers.

Accepting donations of new mittens, gloves, and socks for Arlington children and adults in need.

Chamber welcomes associate director

New associate

The chamber in a Sept. 29 email announcement welcomed its new associate director, Anne Thomson, an Arlington resident who has a background in marketing and communications.

She has been a volunteer with ArlingtonEATS and has also worked in the Arlington schools.

She will be involved in all aspects of the chamber, with special emphasis on member engagement.
