Aardvark reprises Ellington/Strayhorn 'Nutcracker Suite' for Christmas

Celebrate Aardvark Jazz Orchestra’s 48th annual Christmas Concert by revisiting the band’s performance of the Ellington/Strayhorn "Nutcracker Suite," originally recorded in December 2013 at Boston’s Emmanuel Church.

This virtual concert is about 35 minutes long, featuring the audio recording from the time, with intriguing visual images to accompany the spectacular music.

In this holiday season, joyful music brings us together in the spirit of peace, justice and healing.

This year’s virtual Christmas Concert is a benefit for the Poor People’s United Fund, an organization that works to alleviate suffering of poor and homeless people. This year, PPUF is especially focused on providing food for those in need. Please give generously to support this worthy cause
