Hearing on water-main project March 4

The Massachusetts Water Resources Authority (MWRA) is rehabilitating the Arlington Center water main, originally constructed in 1899. Phase 2 of this project is expected to begin March 29 and will take place on Mass. Ave. between Pleasant and Medford streets.

A public meeting to review Phase 2 work of this project with MWRA representatives was held Thursday, March 4, at 7 p.m., in the Selectmen's Hearing Room, Town Hall, 2nd floor.

To minimize disruption to traffic and businesses, work will be performed in small sections and will proceed in sequence.

You can review additional details online at arlingtonma.gov/mwra
