Reading of "A Winter's Tale" tonight

Shakespeare logoI've been hosting "Twelfth Night" read-throughs for years, but this year's January was just too busy.

So, given our lack of a true winter this year, it looks like this is the year for

"A Winter's Tale" instead.

Date: Saturday, Feb. 18 (baby brother Matt's birthday)
Time: 6 p.m. to whenever
Place: my home, 111 Fairmont St., East Arlington

The story:
King Leontes is jealous: his wife, Hermione, was more successful than he himself at persuading his childhood friend, Polixenes, to continue his visit. This leads to all sorts of Shakespearian chaos (including the famous stage direction, "Exit, pursued by bears"), and, of course, ends with summer and miraculous joy.

If there's a role you'd like to claim, let me know; otherwise, we'll just take turns reading through the scenes.
