| "Inspired by Place" at Old Schwamb through June 2 |

"Inspired by Place" continues to be on display through June 2 at the Old Schwamb Mill. Works shown here are Claire Ghiloni's (left), Fred Moses's (below) and Rose Austin's (right). A historical talk and Cinco de Mayo celebration were held at the on Saturday, May 5, 2 to 4:30 p.m. Titled "Workers at the Old Schwamb Mill, A Rediscovery Project," the talk was be presented by Dermot Whittaker. Guided tours of the Mill, from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., include frame-turning demonstrations on original 19th-century lathes. Situated on the oldest continuously working mill site in the country, the Old Schwamb Mill is a living museum and manufactory of oval picture frames since 1864.
