The Friends of the Alewife Reservation (FAR) announces the following:

"Water Trouble," a public forum on storms forum on storms, floods and pollution, is set for Thursday. Sept. 13, from 7 to 9 p.m., in the Winn Brook cafeteria, 97 Waterhouse Road, Belmont.

Hear experts in a panel discussion about local and regional storm water management issues.
Find your home on FEMA flood pattern maps of Winn Brook and other Alewife Brook watershed neighborhoods.
Understand the storm water requirements proposed Alewife developments must meet.
Learn how citizens can influence government decisions about flood prevention and pollution caused by excess storm water.
