Arlington police confirmed Thursday, Dec. 8, that a body found in Spy Pond two days earlier is that of Cameron Raudonis-Blicker, 23, of Derry, N.H. Captain Richard Flynn, department spokesman, confirmed a report from the Middlesex District Attorney's Office identifying the body.

Police say the man, who appears to be white, may have been in the water a couple of days before he was spotted behind the Elks Club on Pond Lane,

Officials are still waiting for autopsy results to determine the cause of death. Toxicology reports are expected in 10 days to two weeks.

Raudonis-Blicker was found unclothed, police said.

Flynn said officers found the man's clothes at the banks of Spy Pond near Linwood Street. They found his identification and called the Derry Police Department.

He said officers in New Hampshire had information regarding tattoos that matched.

Arlington police officers also found a car registered to the man on Pleasant Street, he said.

Flynn said dental records were sent to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner late Wednesday afternoon, confirming Raudonis-Blicker's identity.

Authorities have contacted Raudonis-Blicker’s family in New Hampshire, but police continue to investigate why he was in Arlington, Boston.com reported Dec. 8.

This story was first reported by Patch at 3:15 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 6, and by WickedLocal one-half hour later. It was updated Dec. 8.
