To post to Your blog, the site's place for opinion, you must be a registered user. (Here are instructions for signing up >>.) Here are instructions for blogging on this site:

First, log in to YourArlington. Go to the toolbar link called Your blog, top right. Click on that.

To add your comment to an existing thread, click on the Comments link at the bottom of any post. A Leave a Reply window opens, and you can record your words for posterity there. To have you comment go public, hit Submit Comment and, voila!, you're a published blogger.

To start new thread, click on Submit Post, which is at the bottom of Your blog sidebar, under "Menue" at the lower right (the misspelling is embedded in the software can't be changed -- sorry). In the window that opens, write your post and provide a headline.

Note that you can save your post, save or continue to edit it. When you're ready for the world to see what you've written, hit publish.

Your posts must include your first and last names.

In the experience of the publisher, YourArlington and its blog are best viewed in Firefox and Internet Explorer 7. Some users have reported display issues in Internet Explorer 6. I new site template, published Oct. 27, 2007, is an attempt to correct those issues.

Moderation?

Right now the blog site is not moderated. The publisher encourages posters to practice moderation on their own posts, so moderation does not have to be imposed.
