Heard among the answers at the regular brainstorming sessions of the Ottoson News Network video production club: “No recess -- it's outrageous!” “Homework overload!” “The school play I was in.” “The Ottoson peer mediation program – it rocks!”" "The mysterious science experiments” (at the bottom of the 1,000 backpacks that slog daily through the halls of their school).
“Media literacy” is at the heart of this after-school program, which mixes students from all three grade levels at the Ottoson Middle School in Arlington.
