In the 21st century, we live, work, and learn in a global arena. By traveling, students have the opportunity to learn in exciting novel ways to prepare them for a global future. Numerous educational tours are planned for 2008-2009; community members are encouraged and welcomed to join Arlington High School students.

In May, a five-day tour of the U.S. South is planned of crucial
historic sites of the civil-rights movement.
From May 22-26, the group plans to begin its tour in Atlanta, move on to Montgomery and
Birmingham, Ala., and return to Atlanta. Stops will include Rosa Parks
Museum, Sixteenth Street Baptist Church, Birmingham Civil Rights
Museum, MLK Birth Site/Center for Non-Violent Protest and Ebenezer
Baptist Church.
The tour will include the Georgia Aquarium, CNN
Center, Olympic Park and the Georgia Dome. This
adventure includes airfare, all entrance fees, hotels and two
meals a day.
This tour is open to students and adults from the community.
