The Robbins Library is looking for someone who would be willing to take on the job of "book sale volunteer," which involves being the point person behind the scenes coordinating things for library book sales. If you would like to do this -- or know someone who would -- let Cindy Diminiture know.
Responsibilites include:
- Sorting books (adult and childrens') donated to the Library on a weekly basis;
- Determining which books should be added to the ongoing book sale on the fourth floor of the library and which should be saved for the Town Day Book Sale in September;
- Working with the librarians to determine which materials might be added to the library's collection;
- Storing the remaining books in the library until they can be picked up by Got Books or another company; and
- Organizing skills and love of books are a big plus.
Please contact Diminture, assistant director of the Robbins Library, at 781-316-3202 if you are interested or have questions.
