Arlington residents enjoy a variety of parks, recreational areas and conservation lands. To help take care of those areas, a group of representatives from existing groups of "friends," land stewards and volunteers joined to form Arlington Friends of Parks. One of the group's aims is to raise money through voluntary, tax-deductible donations. The funds raised through private donations will be put into a separate account designated to be used just for our parks, playgrounds and conservation lands.
