The Massachusetts League of Environmental Voters (MLEV), which describes itself as a nonpartisan political voice for the environment, has endorsed John L. Worden III for the 23rd Middlesex House race, citing his strong commitment to environmental issues that affect both the commonwealth and Arlington and West Medford.

“MLEV is proud to endorse John Worden, a public servant who has been a champion for the environment locally for many years,” said MLEV Executive Director Lora Wondolowski. “We need more environmental champions on Beacon Hill and John would be a real leader on these critical issues.”
In his MLEV questionnaire, Worden cited encouraging smart growth, creating strong energy policy, and improving public transportation as his top environmental priorities. Worden, a Republican, is committed to working with other legislators to ensure that the environment is a higher priority in the Legislature, MLEV says.
"I am delighted to have received the endorsement of the Massachusetts League of Environmental Voters. I also look forward to working hard on local environmental issues, especially renewable energy," Worden said.
