Wild Child ‘Generating Change’ for local charities PDF Print E-mail
Written by Erin Fogel
Monday, 28 July 2008

Wild Child Logo Wild Child, Arlington Center’s independent retailer of functional and fashionable gear and goods for families, has announced its partnership with Generate Change, a locally based company that is "bringing the change jar into the 21st century."   By allowing consumers to simply round up their total to the nearest dollar, consumers are easily able to give to their local charities.    Image

Starting July 19, Wild Child staff began asking customers if they would like to round up their purchase total to make a contribution to Cradles to Crayons that focuses on providing, low-income children with basic essentials they need to be safe, warm, and ready to learn.

Wild Child is located at 397 Massachusetts Ave. in Arlington Center.

Last year's auction brought in $4,000, primarily because of two drug-forfeiture cars.
