** Town Meeting attendance from 2002 to 2006, according to information collected by the town clerk's office and provided by the League of Women Voters of Arlington in a .pdf file. The following say the record compiled by the LWV is inaccurate.

Corrections:

Michael Quinn, Precinct 10, who faces reelection and has served four years. He reports perfect attendance in the last three years. The LWV chart on this site has no record of his serving on Town Meeting in 2004 and 2003, but he was a member then. He says his attendance is correct on the 2007 LWV voters' guide (.pdf).

About YourArlington

Bob SpragueYourArlington.com is an experiment in community journalism dedicated to reporting news about Arlington, Mass., and the Arlington-related views of its residents. The experiment not unique but is part of a nationwide movement called "citizen journalism." The phrase gained currency through We the Media, a 2004 book by Dan Gillmor. This kind of journalism encourages members of a community to write about that community. The writing may be reporting, or it may be opinion.
